2. Information We Collect

• Voice and audio data: Transmitted to Google Gemini Live API for processing. We do not store voice recordings on our servers.
• Usage data: Anonymous statistics such as which analysts are popular and session lengths.
• Technical data: Standard web server logs including IP addresses and browser type used for security and performance only.
• Cookies: Minimal functional cookies only. No advertising tracking cookies.
• Alert sign-up data: If you opt in to email or SMS alerts, we collect the email address and/or mobile phone number you provide, along with the teams and sports you choose to follow, solely to deliver those alerts.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

• No account registration is required to use the core AI analyst service — voice and chat work without giving us your name, email, or phone number (these are collected only if you choose to opt in to alerts)
• We do not store conversation transcripts or voice recordings
• We do not collect payment information
• We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21 years of age

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the BleacherBots AI analyst service
• To monitor site security and prevent abuse
• To understand aggregate usage patterns
• To comply with legal obligations

5. Third-Party Services

• Google Gemini Live API: Processes voice input. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare: Security and performance. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• ESPN API: Live sports scores. No personal data is shared with ESPN.
• Twilio: Delivers SMS alerts you opt in to. Your mobile number is shared with Twilio only as the carrier needed to send those texts, subject to Twilio's Privacy Policy.

6. SMS / Text Message Alerts

If you opt in, BleacherBots sends recurring automated text messages about game start times for the teams and sports you follow.

• Consent: You opt in by checking the SMS-alerts consent box and providing your mobile number (in your account preferences or at bleacherbots.com/sms-alerts). Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
• Message frequency: Recurring and varies by how many teams/games you follow. Message & data rates may apply.
• Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
• No sharing of mobile data: We do not share or sell your mobile opt-in information or consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only sharing is with Twilio, our messaging provider, strictly to deliver the texts you requested.

7. Affiliate Partnerships

BleacherBots participates in affiliate programs with licensed sportsbook operators. When you click sportsbook links we may receive compensation. We do not share your personal information with affiliate partners. All sportsbook partners are licensed and regulated.

8. Age Restriction

BleacherBots is intended for users aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact [email protected].

9. Data Security

We use Google Cloud Run with industry-standard security. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.
