Happy Halloween, Detroit! There is nothing spooky about where our boys stand—the Red Wings are sitting at 6-4-3, well in the race within the Atlantic Division with 71 games remaining. The season is live, the intensity is ramping up, and we have a monster matchup today, October 31, as the Blues come to town at 1:00 PM ET. This team is hungry, and we need a huge effort on home ice to keep climbing the standings!
Looking across the league, it is a packed Saturday slate. Beyond our clash in Detroit, we have Chicago visiting Boston, Tampa Bay heading to Nashville, and Edmonton facing the Islanders. The West Coast gets in on the action later with Buffalo in LA and Ottawa in San Jose. Later tonight, Pittsburgh meets Montreal, Toronto faces Vancouver, Columbus challenges Dallas, and Calgary wraps it up against Colorado. Looking back at yesterday’s results, New Jersey took down Vegas 5-2, Florida bested Winnipeg 5-2, and Calgary handled Seattle 6-2. The grind is real, the hockey is fast, and the Red Wings are ready to make a statement. Strap in, buckle up, and let’s get those two points, Detroit!
