Listen up, Red Wings fans! The season is live, and while we are currently sitting at 0-1-0 with 83 games left to go, there is absolutely no reason to panic. We are deep in the race in the Atlantic Division, and today is the perfect day to get those first two points on the board. We have the Jets coming into town at 1:00 PM ET, and I want to see this team playing with grit, passion, and that classic Detroit intensity. Looking back at yesterday, October 3, the league saw a massive slate of action, including the Islanders shutting out the Devils 6-0 and the Avalanche dominating the Blues 6-1. We cannot let other teams dictate the pace of the season. It is a long road ahead, but this roster has the heart to climb the standings. After today's matchup, we have a busy night ahead in the NHL with Utah facing the Rangers, Florida battling Anaheim, Calgary taking on Seattle, and Vegas hitting the ice against Vancouver. But for now, my focus is entirely on our boys in red and white. Let's defend home ice and get this season moving in the right direction. LGRW!
