Listen up, Hockeytown! It is Thursday, October 15, and the energy in the league is absolutely electric. We have a massive 11-game slate tonight, but all eyes are locked on Little Caesars Arena where our Detroit Red Wings are set to host the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:30 PM ET. We are sitting at 1-3-2 right now, but let me be crystal clear: the season is live, we are in the race, and we are nowhere near finished. With 78 games still to go, there is a mountain of hockey left to play.
While we look ahead to tonight’s puck drop, we cannot ignore the momentum from the ice yesterday, October 14. We saw a wild one where Montreal fell 4-5 to Washington, and Dallas edged out Colorado 3-2. Those results are just a reminder that every point counts in this league. Our squad needs to tighten up the defense and start finding the back of the net consistently. I believe in this group, and tonight is the perfect chance to start a run. Grab your jerseys, get loud, and let’s get those two points. LGRW!
