Listen up, Hockeytown! It is Tuesday, October 20, and the NHL schedule is absolutely packed with eleven high-octane matchups tonight. While the rest of the league is busy, my eyes are locked firmly on the Pacific Northwest. Our Detroit Red Wings are heading into Climate Pledge Arena at 9:40 PM ET to take on the Kraken, and frankly, it is time to stack some points. At 3-3-2 with 76 games still left on the schedule, we are right in the thick of the Atlantic Division race. This season is very much alive, and we cannot afford to leave points on the table against a team like Seattle.

Looking back at yesterday, October 19, we saw some interesting results around the league, including the Rangers taking down Anaheim 5-2, Philadelphia edging Colorado 3-3—wait, make that 3-2—Toronto handling San Jose 3-1, and Utah winning a thriller 5-4 over Pittsburgh. Those games are in the rearview mirror now. Tonight is all about Detroit imposing their will and finding consistency on the road. Let’s get that ‘W’ and start building some serious momentum. LGRW!
