What a time to be a baseball fan! The atmosphere surrounding the American League Championship Series is absolutely electric. We are coming off a hard-fought battle in Sunday’s game on October 18, where Tampa Bay secured a 3-1 victory over Cleveland. That win puts the Rays in the driver’s seat, as Tampa Bay leads the series 3-2 and needs 1 more win to advance to the World Series.
Now, all eyes turn to the diamond for a massive matchup tonight. The upcoming game on Monday, October 19, at 8:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM CT features Cleveland at Tampa Bay, and you can catch all the action on TBS/truTV. Cleveland has their backs against the wall, and I can tell you from experience, there is nothing quite like the desperation and focus of a team facing elimination in October.
While we are watching these teams battle for glory with Detroit watching from home, you have to appreciate the intensity of this postseason. Every pitch matters, every defensive shift is magnified, and the pressure is at an all-time high. Grab your snacks and settle in, because this Game 6 has all the makings of an instant classic. Who is taking this series to a Game 7?
